Products Covered and Duration of Warranty
This Limited Warranty of SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear applies to products manufactured and distributed by SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear. The product purchased shall be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of shipment by SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear. Warranty period of 12 months manufacturing defects unless otherwise specified. Parts carry a warranty period of 12 month.
What to do for WARRANTY and SERVICE
Ø Contact us via Email at info@skyetent.com with details of your issue.
Ø We require the purchase date, a copy of receipt
Ø Send a clear images of the issue
Ø You will need a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number
Ø Items without RMA Number will be rejected
Ø Package the product for its return in its original package
Ø Ship the item at your cost back to SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear addressed we provide to you with RMA number.
On return of the product and inspection we find that a product failed due to a manufacturing or material defect, we will repair or replace the product, at our discretion, without charge.
This warranty charges for shipping, crating, taxes or any additional charges are fully customer’s responsibility. Any and all charges for upgrading to a higher model are fully customer’s responsibility for extra cost.
Terms of the Warranty
SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear warrants that the product you have purchased from SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear or a SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear authorized reseller is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. The warranty period begins on the day of shipment from SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear. SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear authorized reseller. The warranty extends only to the original purchaser. Warranty is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases the product from you. During the warranty period, SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear Service and Repair Center will repair or replace defective parts with new parts or at the option of SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear, serviceable used parts that are equivalent or superior to new parts in performance. This Limited Warranty extends only to products purchased from SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear or a SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear authorized reseller. This Limited Warranty does not extend to any product that damaged or rendered defective (a) as a result of accident, misuse or abuse; (b) as a result of an act of God; (c) by operation outside the usage parameters stated herein; (d) by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear; (e) by modification of the product; (f) as a result of service by anyone other than SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear or a SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear authorized reseller or authorized agent and (g) has been resold as used from person to person.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY, SKEYTENT VEHICLE ADVENTURE GEAR MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SKEYTENT VEHICLE ADVENTURE GEAR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES NOT STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY LAW ARE LIMITED TO THE TERMS OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.
Limitations of Remedy
SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear is not liable for any damages caused by the product or by the failure of the product to perform, including any lost profits, lost savings, incidental damages, or consequential damages. SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear is not liable for any claim made by a third party or made by you for a third party. This limitation applies whether damages are sought, or a claim made, under this warranty or as a tort claim (including negligence and strict product liability), a contract claim, or any other claim. This limitation cannot be waived or amended by any person. This limitation of liability will be effective even if SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear or an authorized SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear representative has been advised by you of the possibility of any such damages. Some states and or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. In such states or provinces, the limitations or exclusions of this Limited Warranty may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that may vary from state to state and or province to province . You are advised to consult applicable state or provincial laws for a full determination of your rights.
How do I obtain Warranty Service?
For a defect during the warranty period, you will need a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number
Before you can return the product. Contact SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear or a SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear authorized reseller to obtain an RMA number. Return the defective item, freight and insurance will be responsibility of original purchaser buyer to ship in the original shipping container to SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear or your SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear authorized reseller. A reference of your RMA number must appear on the outside of the shipping container and include examples or samples printed with the defective unit when possible. SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear is not responsible for any loss or damages incurred in shipping. A SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear Failure Analysis/Test Engineer or a SkyeTent Vehicle Adventure Gear authorized reseller must validate all warranty claims.
